Frequently asked questions
Everything worth knowing before you send a request. If your question is not here, ask us through the contact page rather than guessing; we would rather answer than have you sign something you do not follow.
Are you a lender?
No. Simple Loan Solutions is a marketing service. We pass your request to lenders and lending partners in our network. They decide whether to lend, at what rate, and on what terms. We never make that call.
How much can I request?
Between $1,000 and $25,000. What a lender is willing to offer may be less than what you ask for, and it depends on their criteria and on your circumstances.
What will this cost me?
Nothing to us. Sending a request is free and you are never charged for using this site. Any interest and fees come from the lender you choose, and they are set out in writing before you sign.
How long are the repayment terms?
Lenders in our network offer terms from 91 days up to 72 months. A shorter term means a higher monthly payment and less interest overall. A longer term does the opposite.
How quickly would I get the money?
That depends on the lender and on your bank. Some lenders transfer funds quickly once a loan agreement is signed. We cannot promise a timeframe, because we are not the ones sending the money.
How do you make money?
Lenders and lending partners may pay us when a request is matched or funded. That is what keeps the site free to use. It also means we hold a commercial relationship with the lenders in our network, and we would rather you knew that.
Will sending a request hurt my credit score?
Sending a request through this site is not an application for credit. If a lender considers your request, it may run a soft check that does not affect your score. A full application with a lender can involve a hard check, and the lender tells you before that happens.
Do I need good credit to use this site?
No. Lenders in the network consider a range of credit profiles, and several weigh income and payment history rather than the score alone. A lower score usually means a higher APR, and every lender shows you the full cost before you sign.
What do I need to send a request?
You must be a United States resident, at least 18 years old, with an income source, a bank account, and contact details. Individual lenders may ask for more when you apply with them directly.
Can I pay a loan off early?
That depends on the lender. Many allow early repayment without a penalty, which reduces the total interest you pay. Check the loan agreement for a prepayment clause before you sign, and ask the lender if it is not clear.
Still deciding?
The loan pages explain each type of borrowing in plain language, from how lenders price a request to when a loan is the wrong answer entirely. The calculators turn any offer you receive into a monthly payment and a total cost, which are the two numbers that matter. And when you are ready, the request form takes a couple of minutes, costs nothing, and commits you to nothing.
